Course Overview: Your athletic and mobility-focused clients crave assisted stretching, but wrestling limbs and muscling through manual resistance can leave your own shoulders, wrists, and low back completely taxed. FasciAshi Range of Motion (ROM) Stretch Therapy is our 2-day (16 CE hour) feet-on training created for licensed massage therapists ready to tap into the booming demand for assisted stretching without sacrificing their own bodies. Supported by overhead bars and the suspended Ashi-Strap, and guided by practicing clinicians, you will learn to use your feet and body weight to blend deep compressions with active, passive, and resisted movement… re-educating the nervous system, restoring functional tensegrity, and giving your draped or clothed clients profound mobility gains while keeping your body entirely safe.

  • Stretch therapy theories grounded in biotensegrity, nervous system down-regulation, and modern pain science

  • Structural benefits, functional intent, and the biomechanical “why” behind every stretch and mobilization

  • Multi-planar, 3-dimensional techniques to mobilize the hips, spine, and shoulder girdle with effortless control

  • Pathology-reviewed contraindications, cautions, and adaptations for hypermobile, hypomobile, and joint-replacement populations

  • Optimal body mechanics using overhead bars and Ashi-Strap leverage to direct force and resist client movement without joint strain

  • How to manipulate the limbs through passive range of motion, gentle traction, and joint centration underfoot

  • Clear verbal cueing strategies to guide clients through active-assisted movement, PNF, reciprocal inhibition, and pin-and-stretch resistance
